Ralphie's New Toy!

Alice's 25th Birthday Boogie

More recently I went along to Alice's 25th birthday 'do' at Oceana and took my buddy Mike along. Much fun was had. I met lots of new people, drank lots of um..cough... 'lemonade??' and had a good old boogie. I managed to pose for lots of pictures that I have no recollection of posing for! I usually steer clear of the clubbing scene but was having much fun in there. I expect the drinks Alice and George plied me with prior to our departure to the bus stop probably helped me to get into the swing a bit. I managed to have lots of those drunken chats about things you'd never dream of if you were sober.

Ralph makes the sofa his domain! There's no way this mutt is budging now he's comfortable. So I figured I may as well tuck him in for the night. The problem is, its become his permanant spot. His favourite place outside has now been exchanged for this one seater. Thankfully he just uses this one for sleeping on rather than projectile vommiting, pooing and eating as he was in the last place.

Angry at a Jacobs Cracker

Ralph develops a strange phobia of the common Jacobs cracker.. and howls, and howls and HOWLS at it!?!? Does he know something I don't??

Family Bar-b-que at the Margetts'

Managed to slide in another extended family gathering in only a matter of months from the first - this is a rarity indeed. We had a bit of a bar-b in the garden seeing as my dad wanted to try out his new B & Q deluxe barbque. What started off as a bit of a rainy day ended up nice and sunny. Lots of good grub on the go, including some more of Jamie Olivers lamb burgers. Not bad at all. Ralph didn't seem too keen on the large amount of people wondering around his territory but soon got over it and was back to stealing burgers from people like his usual self. Lots of pims was drunk and I'm still finishing off the vast amount of J2O's that were left over. I think my vitamin C consumption has reached an all time high!

All Aboard the Goodship 'Tugboat'

One of me best buds Jo invited me along on a little cruise along the Thames. It was all very civilized, though the tug boat appearence of this apparent cruise boat put her off a little I think. Everyone was ramming down the sea legs before climbing aboard. Anywho much fun and frolics were had. All this despite some random fella opening the loo door on me and making me cry from embarrassment. Literally cry! I mean I bawled my eyes out. I dont cope well with embarrassment. I eventually got over it and started to enjoy some of the scenery with little Jo Bo. A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all.

Family Gathering in the Motherland

As for me, well it was 'family get together time' so we all hiked it down to the motherland of Gosport and gathered for my cousins 30th. Was great to catch up with some of the rellies, old and young and try some of the grub - yum! Time for one of our 10 yearly family snaps to prove we are all still alive and kicking (just about!). Anywho here's a snappy snap from the festivities.

Back to dog bot. So any who there wasnt much to report for a few weeks. Ralph was his usual hyperactive self, just mulching around as he does. Anyway he found a new place to lay his head. And chose the same place to projectile puke, eat, go to the loo and chew shoes.

Adieu Ben!

Ben (brother) went off on his newest expedition to Cambodia. We had a little send off dinner in La Tasca which meant that I discovered the wonder that is tapas and have since tried out just about every one I have walked past. Most recently I went to one in Putney called 'La Manche', very very expensive but the food was fantastico and worth every penny. I recommend the Calamari! Anywho we had a good bit of grub in La Tasca and slipped in a few sangria's. All before packing Ben off to Cambodia for the next six months. His photos are making me very jealous so I have a few plans in the pipe line to pop on over and join him when I go on my Asian expedition in the new year :)
