This is all a bit dis-ordered/disorgansised (whichever fits best) in terms of time scales etc as my trip to Italy probably happened a few months prior even to Ralphs earliest post but I thought it was worth a mention as it was a pretty magnifico trip. I went to Rome, and saw all the 'best bits'. Spent lots of pennies on things I couldn't afford and even tried veal - which I'm sure to go straight to hell for. But I've since discovered that it would just be wasted anyway because it's baby boy cows (or bulls as they are more commonly known lol) and not many of them get used for stud and therefore get slaughtered anyway. So I figure I may as well tuck in. It tastes like chicken. But then doesn't everything?
Moving on... I managed to see some pretty awesome sights including my favourite 'The Vatican'. I'm not a particularly holy person but even I felt a bit of a religious glow in my little soul in there. It was beautiful and probably one of the 8th wonders of the world in my opinion. All this was somewhat (temporarily) dampened when I found some mashed bloke lighting up a joint next to one of the Pope's graves down in the burial halls. Now I'm sure thats not allowed! But hey ho it added to the character of the place I suppose. Anywho, I also got to go on a open top bus (yay) with some headphones that didn't work and get ripped off at the collesseum. No trip to Rome is complete if you're not ripped off at the Collesseum now. Any who enjoy the piccys, maybe even a video clip if you're lucky! You might even get the chance to see me scratching my nose with my mittens at the end!
