Rather unexciting really but I went to Chessington zoo for the first time in about 10 years a few months back. I'm not really one for rides, I generally end up puking and walking slightly off balance and twitching strangely for the rest of the day when I've been on one of those upside down, inside out rides. But I did rather enjoy seeing all the animals at the zoo!! Especially the meer cats! I wanted to steal one for my backpack but had some difficulty negotiating their enclosure. They are strangely 'back pack sized' too which makes it even more appealing. Anyway, leaving animal theft aside, I took some pretty cool pictures of some baboon type animals who gave me a bit of grin through the glass (pics attatched) and saw some piggys rolling around in some grime - as they do. No polar bears - but thats for the best.. Chessington is no place for a such a wild animal.. what with someone falling into their enclosure a few years back and getting his arm chewed off. It's also not the most natural environment now is it?!
I also shouldn't forget to mention that Chessington zoo has a vast collection of birds. I have always felt that anything with 'wing-age' has a superior advantage over me so I dislike these beings in any form emmensly. The same opinion can be expressed for all insects and winged mammals (bats) and more recently I have developed a strong distain for molluscs.
